Since July rumor mills have been making rounds about the forthcoming high-end smartphone from HTC, dubbed as HTC One A9 aka Hima Aero. Now, in the latest news, serial leakster @eveleaks has tweeted about the leaked specifications of the device under the scanner. Going by the specifications, the smartphone looks like a mid-ranger.
Following the leaked specifications, the device is expected to feature a 5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by a 1.5GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, and will come with 16GB of expandable internal storage. The leak suggests that the device will sport a 13-megapixel of primary camera with LED flash, Optical Image Stabilization, along with an Ultrapixel front-facing camera.
There is no information regarding the Android version that the device will run, but rumors in the past have tipped that the A9 might run on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow HTC’s in-house Sense 7.0 UI on top.
Moreover, the rumored device is expected to come in a metal body, with a fingerprint sensor. Unlike other HTC smartphones that come with dual front-facing BoomSound speakers, this one might not tread the same design. The phone will most likely support 4G LTE connectivity. However, it is not yet clear that it will bear dual-SIM slots or not. HTC is expected to launch the One A9 Hima Aero at its upcoming event on September 29th in Japan along with a smartwatch or another smartphone. The phone might be available in six color variants and will most likely go on sale in the starting of November.
