Now that CES 2015 is on the verge, we are treated with teasers and rumours about what manufacturers plan to unveil this season. This time HTC has confirmed that it will be launching the latest smartphone in its Desire range. The company had posted a teaser poster on its Weibo account.
Personally, I wouldn't be surprised that HTC is launching a selfie device, considering that the selfie phenomenon is increasing day by day. HTC had also launched RE camera, to be used majorly for selfies. The success of the device is however debatable.

Having said that, the speculated specs of the device to be launched at the CES match with the recently rumoured HTC Hima flagship device. According to a report by Android Authority, the device will also come with a dual SIM option which would probably see limited launch in the Asian market. On the MediaTek page in Wikipedia, we've come across a new device named the HTC Desire 850, which will supposedly utilise an octa-core MT6795 chipset. The MT6795 has a 2GHz octa-core ARM Cortex A53 CPU and a PowerVR G6200 GPU.
According to the poster, HTC will be holding an event between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM on 5th of January, where it will launch the device. While the poster doesn't talk on specs or the device itself, according to a Twitter user name @Upleaks, HTC is pegged to launch a selfie device nicknamed as HTC A51, which will come with a 13 megapixel front facing camera with 16GB model and 4 Ultrapixel front camera with the 32GB model.
