HTC seems to have understood the Indian consumers (finally) and has just quietly slipped in a budget quad core device, the HTC Desire 310 for Rs 11,350 on online stores to rival a slew of budget Indian smartphones and the uber-popular Moto G. Let us take a look at what HTC Desire 310 has on offer:
- 4.5 inch screen with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, 218 ppi
- Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.1 UI on top of it
- 1.3 GHz quad core Mediatek MT6582M chipset
- 1GB RAM
- 4GB internal storage which can be expanded by another 32GB
- 5MP rear camera without flash and a VGA front camera
- 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP
- 2,000 mAh battery
- Rs 11,350
The smartphone misses out on a flash and eventhough some may say that it is priced at a premium of about Rs 1,000-2,000 over similarly specced budget devices, we say that it's HTC and the peace of mind it brings to the table along with it is surely worth the extra money spent.
