Goqii Debuts Vital Fitness Band With Heart Rate Sensor, Blood Pressure Monitor at Rs 3,499

Goqii had furthered its lineup of fitness bands in India by debuting the new Goqii Vital fitness band on Thursday. The band will also be premiering during the Amazon Prime Sale starting July 16th. The new Vital fitness band by Goqii will come with a built-in heart rate sensor and a blood pressure monitor. The pricing of the band will be Rs 3,499. Buyers will also enjoy additional benefits like Goqii Play Feature using which users will be able to stream live videos from fitness experts on the Goqii app, besides, they will also be eligible for a free three months coaching plan from Goqii.

The Goqii Vital sports an OLED touchscreen which will show necessary information like steps, calories burnt, distance, and sleep details. The fitness band will also show critical stats like Blood pressure and heart rate. This gadget also comes with a Sports Mode that records and presents stats during training or while doing activities like running, working out and cycling. Additionally, the band can send notifications to the Goqii app on users’ phones, and they will also be able to set alarms on the band. The Goqii vital comes with a built-in USB charger. The battery life of the device has been claimed to be around seven days, and it has also been said to be waterproof.

About the launch, the company said in a statement "The new Gooqi Vital band is designed to help monitor key vital stats like Blood Pressure and Heart Rate. It can report both Systolic and Diastolic pressure with a good degree of accuracy. However, it is not a medical device and not a replacement to a Sphygmomanometer (an instrument for measuring blood pressure). Patients with hypertension should consult their doctor before us.”

Like mentioned above, the highlighting feature of this device will be the Goqii Play feature using which users will be able to stream live videos on their mobile phone on the Goqii Play app. The live videos will include streams from experts, doctors, fitness trainers, emotional health counsellors and health influencers. Goqii users will be able to ask questions and interact with these experts in real time during the live stream.
