Google Pixel 4 Renders Leaked Along With Screen Protector, Suggests Punch-Hole Style Cut Out

Follow Us

Until now this year, the Google devices, which were hogging the limelight were the Google Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL. Recently, we have also seen the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL receive a price cut in India, but besides that, we are already getting to hear some chatter about the next upcoming device from Google – the Pixel 4. There is a new leak and a possible hint towards the design of the Pixel 4 which comes from a screen protector which is currently up for pre-order for the Pixel 4. The screen guard which has been spotted online comes with a punch-hole style cutout which we have seen in the Samsung Galaxy S10+. There is also a render of the Google Pixel 4 behind the screen protector which resembles some of the previous renders of the phone.

Google Pixel 4 Render Details

The screen protector has been made available for pre-order by Skinomi - a mobile accessory company based out of Ponoma, California. On taking a closer look, we not only find the punch-hole style cut out but there are also horizontal cutouts on the top and bottom edge of the protector as well, thus pointing towards the presence of stereo speakers. The hole-punch style cut out will make their way to Google phones for the first time this will be new territory for Google. The render of the phone behind the screen guard also suggests that the device will sport slim bezels on all sides. It is also worth noting that the website has listed a screen guard for Google Pixel 4 XL as well, but that one has no renders.

It also appears that Google is going to stick with the regular and wide-angle selfie camera setup for the flagship phones, which has made it a renowned offering. Not only this, but the phone will also offer improved dual-SIM functionality, and it will also come with the latest features of the Google Assistant which were teased in the Google I/O conference of this year. As for the specifications, there is a high chance that the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, which we are getting to see on a lot of flagship devices of this year.

Speculations About the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL

Another exciting thing that we might get to see is Google venturing beyond the 4GB RAM mark. Until now, Google has debuted its phones with 4GB RAM, and we will have to see whether or not this time, the Pixel 4 will come with a higher RAM option. Similar will be the case with storage, where we just might see a Pixel 4 variant with 512GB of storage. The rear camera setup, like it is the case with every Pixel device, will be something to look forward to. Whether or not Google ditches the single camera for a dual rear setup, we will get to see in a few months. The upcoming Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL is expected to be launched sometime in October according to current speculations.
