Gionee launches Elife E8 and Marathon M5, coming soon to India

Gionee has just launched two new smartphones in China, the Elife E8 and Marathon M5. The Elife E8 will be the flagship henceforth and the Marathon M5 will be aimed at users looking to get a really long battery back up. The Elife E8 comes with a 6-inch QHD display and a whopping 23.7MP rear camera as it highlights. This rear camera is capable of taking images in a resolution of up to 100MP.  It further gets a fingerprint sensor.

The Marathon M5 gets a 6,020 mAh battery as its highlight and will last you for up to 62 hours even on 5% of battery charge. It has two batteries with capacities of 3,010 mAh and is just 8.6mm thick. Seeing the fact that Gionee devices get launched in India soon after they get launched globally, we can expect them to come soon to India. Let us take a quick look at their specifications:

The Marathon M5 will go on sale on June 25 in China and Elife E8 will go on sale on July 15 in China. Expect the global roll-out to follow soon after.
