Samsung might unveil Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 in India next week

Many rumors or leaks have been making rounds about Samsung’s unreleased smartphones from the past few weeks. Now, the latest reports confirms the arrival  of two smartphones — Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 in India. The sources claim tentative launch dates ( June 22 and June 28) for both the devices will debut in India, although there is no official confirmation by Samsung.

Now, coming on to the specifications being offered by both the devices, the Galaxy J5 is similar to the Galaxy J1 and runs the same OS version, Android 4.4 KitKat. Samsung has not done any overhauling in terms of the design as well, it has the similar outlook as other Samsung devices such as, Galaxy Duos. Going by the leaked images, the J5 has a thick body. It features a 5-inch display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. There is 8GB of expandable internal storage on-board. The device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera, along with a 5-megapixel front camera, and is backed by 2600mAh of battery.

On the other hand, the Galaxy J7 is a bigger version of the Galaxy J5, it features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. Powering the J7 is a 1.7GHz octa-core Marvel PXA1936 processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of expandable internal storage and is backed by a 3,000mAh of battery. Other specifications of the Galaxy J7 are similar to the Galaxy J5.
