Facebook Messenger might introduce gaming soon

Facebook is trying to add new features to its standalone messenger, and in the latest move, it is planning to introduce gaming for the platform. It’s been hardly two months when Facebook drifted the messenger app towards creating its own content and allowing users to use variety of apps within the messenger to send GIFs, Images, Videos and much more.

In accordance with a report published by, The Information, Facebook is now trying to equip the platform with gaming. In order to increase the app usage, the social network giant is thinking about applying this new move, which might attract more users to use the app.

To add more fuel to the fire, Facebook was recently cited engaging with game developers, and a Facebook executive even confirmed the rumor. All being said, we still have no confirmation from Facebook and it has not even hinted on the supposed timeline for the feature to go live.
