Disney+ Hotstar, the official streaming partner of the Premier League 2024/25 in India, is bringing select matches of the season in 4K resolution. The streaming platform will offer over 100 matches in 4K quality, available to premium subscribers with 4K-enabled Living Room devices. This is the first time the Premier League will be streamed in 4K in India, Disney+ Hotstar announced on Thursday.

Premier League in 4K
The Premier League kicked off on August 17 with the opening fixture between Manchester United and Fulham. Throughout the season, over 100 matches will be available in 4K for Disney+ Hotstar users with a premium subscription. The 4K feature will be accessible via the English language audio feed, ensuring a high-quality experience for viewers, the company said.
The Premier League, known for its intense competition among 20 clubs, runs from August to May, featuring 38 matches per team. The introduction of 4K streaming aims to bring fans closer to the action, offering clarity and detail in one of the world's most competitive football leagues.
