Dish TV Announces New Long-Term Packs and Recharge Offers for Inactive Subscribers

Dish TV India, the leading DTH operator in the country today announced few long-term channel packs and recharge offers for inactive customers in Kerala. The company has made this announcement on the occasion of Onam. Ever since the new Trai tariff regime came out, a lot of subscribers in several markets stopped recharging their DTH accounts and relying on OTT platforms to watch content. In order to not lose the customers, Dish TV India today has now come up with attractive recharge offers for the inactive customers in Kerala. That said, the new offers are available only in Kerala at the moment and the company did not reveal its plans of launching the plans on a pan-India basis.




Dish TV Launches Special Packs Starting at Rs 169

Dish TV has launched five new special packs priced between Rs 169 and Rs 789 (excluding taxes). The DTH operator believes these packs will cater to the requirements of customers. The five packs in question are Classic Joy Malayalam which consists of all popular Malayalam channels; Premiere Malayalam which offers all the Malayalam channels; Classic English pack with all Malayalam and English channels; Premiere World pack with a mix of all genres- Malayalam, English, Sports, Kids and Infotainment channels, and lastly, there's a Titanium Pack which ships with all the entertainment channels out there. These channel pack prices start at just Rs 169 per month and go all the way up to Rs 789. Do make a note that the prices mentioned above are excluding taxes.

Dish TV Also Introduced Long-Term Packs to New Subscribers

Additionally, Dish TV has introduced new long-term channel packs to the new subscribers based on the requirement for multi-lingual content. Customers who're taking a new Dish TV connection can now avail three long-term channel packs- Kerala Max HD, Kerala Max English HD and Kerala Max English Sports HD. The Kerala Max HD pack for six months with antenna costs Rs 2,482, and without antenna, the price is Rs 1,974. The Kerala Max English HD pack costs Rs 2,965 for six months with antenna and Rs 2,457 without the antenna. Lastly, the Kerala Max English Sports HD pack users will have to pay Rs 3,135 for six months with antenna and Rs 2,626 without an antenna. That said, the prices mentioned here are excluding GST.

Dish TV Offers for Inactive Subscribers Detailed

As noted, Dish TV also came up with new offers for the subscribers who're inactive since June 2019. The New Recharge Offers are available on four channel packs- Premiere Malayalam + discovery bouquet, Premiere World, Premiere Malayalam HD + discovery bouquet HD and Premiere World HD. Prices of these packs are mentioned in the table above.

Dish TV also announced that the special offers would be available until September 30, 2019. It will be interesting to see whether the DTH operator launches the same offers in other circles or not.
