As per the price cut, the Coolpad Cool 1 becomes the cheapest smartphone with Snapdragon 652 SoC in India. The 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage model of the Cool 1 is now available at Rs 7,999, whereas the 4GB of RAM and 32GB model will retail for just Rs 8,999 in the country. Talking about the Coolpad Note 5, it will now retail for Rs 7,999, down from the price of Rs 11,999. Lastly, the Note 5 Lite is already available for Rs 5,999 after the price cut. Sadly, the Coolpad Cool Play 6 which was launched back in August 2017 will still retail for Rs 14,999 in the country.

To recall, the Cool 1 smartphone was launched at the end of 2016 in India. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC. The phone is available in two variants- one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and the other one with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Another highlight of the Cool 1 is the dual camera setup at the back. The phone has two 13MP sensors at the back and even offers 4K video recording. Frontal, there’s an 8MP selfie camera. This entire package is backed by a 4000mAh battery.

Coming to the Coolpad Note 5, it offers a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by the Snapdragon 617 chipset. The phone has 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The Note 5 is probably the cheapest smartphone in India with 4GB of RAM. A 13MP camera is present at the back, which is followed by an 8MP selfie camera. The device boots Android Marshmallow and is fuelled by a 4010mAh battery.

Lastly, we have the Coolpad Note 5 Lite priced at Rs 5,999. The Note 5 Lite is a stripped down version of the Note 5 with a 5-inch HD display and quad-core MediaTek MT6735CP chipset. It has 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device boots Android Marshmallow and has a 2500mAh battery inside.

On top of the price cuts, Coolpad has partnered with telecom operators such as Idea Cellular and Vodafone India to offer additional data on select recharge. Vodafone is offering additional 45GB of 4G data with the Note 5 Lite, Note 5, and Cool 1 smartphones, while Idea is providing additional 28GB of data. All the three smartphones can be purchased on Amazon India.
