Airtel withdraws free incoming on roaming plan to be charged at 10 paisa/min

Airtel has silently withdrawn its daily roaming plan of Rs 5 & introduced a new daily roaming plan at Rs 6 which doesn't offer free Incoming calls. Incoming calls are being charged at 10 paisa/min. BSNL to add 2000 new 3G BTS in Kerala circle Kannur to get 330 new 3G BTS, a smart move to counter private operators

As part of Phase VII expansion, BSNL will be adding around 2000 new 3G BTS in Kerala circle. With this expansion BSNL wants to double its 3G footprint in the circle. The new 3G sites will be distributed across Kerala as follows, Trivandrum(160),  Kollam(140), Pathanamthitta(135), Alappuzha(135), 160 Kottayam(160), Ernakulam(270), Trichur(170), Palakkad(130), Malappuram(165), Kozhikode(175)and  Kannur(330).
