BSNL introduces new Unlimited broadband plans for Chattisgarh and extends promotional ones for Gujarat

BSNL has been constantly trying to increase its user base when it comes to broadband services. It has just launched new broadband plans for the Chhattisgarh circle and re-introduced a promotional plan in the Gujarat circle.

BSNL has decided to launch new Broadband Plans ‘BBG Combo ULD 1245 CS52’ & ‘BBG Combo ULD 1441 CS53’ on a promotional basis for a period of 90 days. The plans will come into effect from 01-02-2015 in Raipur, Durg and Bilaspur Service Switching Areas (SSAs) of Chhattisgarh circle. Talking about the plans, let us take a look at what is on offer:

BBG Combo ULD 1245/1441 CS52/CS53:

For a monthly charge of Rs. 1,245, you get:

  • Unlimited downloads with speed of up to 8Mbps till 10GB/15GB and 512Kbps after that
  • 1 free email id per connection with storage space of 5MB
  • 500 free calls within BSNL network
  • After crossing your free calling limit, calls are charged @Re1/metered call unit within the BSNL network
  • Calling to other network is charged @Re1.2/metered call unit
  • Fixed monthly charges for the telephone are waived off
  • Options of annual payments (11 months), two-year payments (21 months) and three-year payments (30 months) in one go are also available.

The Unlimited Broadband plan ‘BBG ULD 5500 CS51’ in Godhra SSA of Gujarat Circle has been extended on a promotional basis for another 90 days. It was initially introduced on 5-11-2014 for 90 days and that time period will expire on 7-2-2015. The new announcement will come into effect from 8-2-2015. Let us take a look at what it offers:

  • Broadband speed of up to 512 Kbps with unlimited download
  • Fixed annual charge of Rs 5,500 and no other charges are applicable
  • 1 free email id with a space of 5 MB.
  • No security charges
  • Free calls, calls to BSNL/other networks and tariffs for Metered Call Units (MCUs) will be as per your existing landline plan.
  • All other charges will be as per your current plan
