BSNL, in the past few months, has been rolling out various offers and schemes for the consumers to lure them to its prepaid plans. Courtesy of these introductions, BSNL has managed to amass a certain number of subscribers. Not only this, but the telco is following the same strategy for its broadband plans as well. Now, one of the plans of BSNL which has become popular in the market is the Rs 1,699 prepaid plan, which comes with a long-term validity. Promotional Offer Details on BSNL Rs 1,699 Prepaid Plan

BSNL has rolled out a new promotional offer as part of which subscribers of the Rs 1,699 long-term prepaid plan will enjoy longer validity than 365 days. As per BSNL’s notification on this offer, the subscribers who buy the Rs 1,699 prepaid plan for their number will enjoy 90 days of extra validity. This means that now the Rs 1,699 prepaid plan would come with 365 + 90 days, i.e. 455 days of validity. This promotional offer from BSNL would be valid between August 14, 2019, and September 13, 2019.

It is also interesting to note that the Rs 1,699 plan by BSNL offers 2GB data per day along with other benefits like unlimited local, STD and roaming calling, 100SMS per day. But, another exciting thing about the Rs 1,699 prepaid plan is that it qualifies for the Bumper Offer for BSNL which offers 2.2GB of additional data per day. This means that subscribers of this plan get total data benefit of 4.2GB of data per day. When compared to other plans of the same price by telecom operators, the Rs 1,699 prepaid plan by BSNL comes off to be as the most attractive one because of the benefits that it offers. In comparison, other telcos offer either 1.4GB of 1.5GB of daily data with calling and other benefits.

BSNL Slashes SIM Replacement Cost by 50%

It is also worth noting that only a few days back, BSNL has made a new change to its SIM replacement price. This move comes as part of BSNL’s consumer-centric moves. Previously, BSNL had set the cost for SIM replacement at Rs 10 but had then hiked the price to Rs 100. But, in a new move, the state-led telecom operator has slashed the price of SIM replacement by 50% down to Rs 50 for a promotional period. Now, BSNL subscribers will be able to change their SIMs only for Rs 50.
