India’s largest Broadband Service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today revised selected Unlimited Broadband and Home Combo Plans. Starting from February 1st, 2012, BSNL Broadband users will get will get approx 100% increased or Double speed at same price in most of the plans.
The Broadband plans in which speed up-gradation will happen are BBG Combo 299,BB Home UL 499 , BB Home Combo UL 625, BBG Combo ULD 85 and BB Home Combo ULD 900.
For BBG Combo 299 users the speed will be revised to 512 Kbps from its existing 256 Kbps speed where as in BB Home UL 499 plan it will be increased till 512 Kbps upto 4Gb and 256 Kbps beyond 4GB where as it was 256 Kbps prior.
In BB Home Combo ULD 900 plan there is no major speed hike as they have given 512 Kbps beyond 8GB usage which was prior 256 Kbps. For rest of the plans please refer the table below
