The telecom industry right now is swirling with the news about tariff hike left, right and centre. All the major telecom operators have announced the price hike of their prepaid plans. The first move was made by Vodafone Idea by hiking its tariffs by 40% and the second move came from Bharti Airtel which also made a similar move. Reliance Jio followed on the same line but has not yet issued any information about the pricing of its plans, but only some small hints about what the people can expect. Now that leaves out the state-led telecom operator, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). In the case of BSNL, however, the telecom operator has also announced that it is going to hike its tariffs similar to all

the other telecom operators. But, until now there has been no news about when the telco is going to make this move or about the quantum of changes. This only means that the subscribers still have time to recharge their BSNL numbers with long-term recharges so that they can avoid the effects of the new data tariff hike for at least three months or more. Here are some plans that the BSNL subscribers can consider.

BSNL Rs 437 Prepaid Plan

The Rs 437 prepaid plan by BSNL is one of the popular ones, and it comes with 1GB data per day benefit. The benefit of this plan is 90 days, and the subscribers also get to enjoy 100 SMS per day under this plan. This plan ships calling benefits which are capped at 250 minutes per day.

BSNL Rs 666 Prepaid Plan

The subscribers of BSNL can opt for another one of the popular plans, which is the Rs 666 prepaid plan. As compared to the above-mentioned plan, the Rs 666 prepaid plan comes with a validity of 122 days. As for the calling benefits, the subscribers enjoy

benefits which include 250 minutes of calling per day, except to Mumbai and Delhi. The data offering in this prepaid plan is 2.5GB until the end of the year, and after that, it will be reduced to 1.5GB data per day.

BSNL Rs 997 Prepaid Plan

This prepaid plan by BSNL is a newly launched one, and it comes with some attractive benefits. The validity of this prepaid plan is 180 days, and it ships 3GB data per day to the users. Along with this, the subscribers also get to enjoy 250 minutes of calling per day, including to Mumbai and Delhi. The customers also get 100 SMS per day benefit and PRBT for two months.

BSNL Rs 999 Prepaid Plan

This plan by BSNL would be suitable for the subscribers who are only interested in voice calling and can let go of the data benefit. If that sounds like you, then you can benefit by recharging with the Rs 999 prepaid plan. This prepaid plan offers calling with a 250 minutes daily cap to the subscribers. The total validity of this prepaid plan is 220 days.

BSNL Rs 1,699 Prepaid Plan

Moving onto the plans with yearly benefits, the most popular of them all is the Rs 1,699 prepaid plan which offers calling benefits with a 250 minutes daily cap. The total validity of this prepaid plan is 365 days, and it offers 2GB data per day to the consumers.

BSNL Rs 1,999 Prepaid Plan

Lastly, there is the newly launched BSNL prepaid plan of Rs 1,999 which the subscribers can also opt for. In this plan, the subscribers get 3GB data per day along with the same calling benefit as the other plans, which is the 250 minutes calling limit per day. The validity of this prepaid plan is again 365 days, and the subscribers also get 100 SMS per day and PRBT.
