BSNL Broadband across all the circles to become costlier

Follow Us

BSNL has reformulated a major chunk of its Broadband plans and this revision will be enforced in all the circles. BSNL has not made any amends to the data quota in all the other plans except the BBG 275 plan in which the Download/Upload limit has been increased to 1.5GB per month.

The basic rentals for the plans have increased by roughly 15%-25%. For example the BB Home 550 plans rental has been increased by Rs.100. The thing is BSNL has not tinkered much with the costlier plans and it is only the basic plans whose rental has been increased considerably.

At a time when BSNL is negating rough seas it seems to be a less appeasing move by the state owned Telcos. Customers are extremely price sensitive and the fact that most of the MSOs are ramping up rural connectivity will make it tougher for BSNL to regain their foothold. In the meanwhile you can check out the revised plans below and let us know what you feel about the change in broadband plans.Untitled image
