BIG Cinemas Introduces iPhone ApplicationBig Cinemas, one of the popular cinema chain introduces a brand new iPhone app for booking tickets from iPhone.

The app will help iPhone users to check out the movies playing in Big Cinemas theatres near to them (with a map) and book tickets directly from their iPhone. With the graphic seating chart  it will even let users to choose the seats of their liking.




You can block your seats using your phone, which will generate a booking ID.This is the first such app for an Indian multiplex chain.

It should be noted that Big Cinemas also has theatres in US. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later. The app comes free of cost, placed under Category: Entertainment. Reliance MediaWorks Ltd. released the app on 09 April 2010.
