Bharti Airtel is not letting other telecom operators such as Reliance Jio and Vodafone India gain an upper hand in the postpaid market. Unlike Vodafone, Airtel is revamping its postpaid plans separately, and the latest plan to get the treatment is the entry-level Rs 499 myPlan Infinity plan, which now offers 75GB of data. Earlier, Airtel offered 40GB of data per month with the same Rs 499 myPlan Infinity postpaid plan, but it has now been modified to offer nearly double the data. With this revision, the Rs 399 postpaid plan is left out, which might also be revised in the coming days to offer 40GB of data, same as Vodafone RED 399 plan. Airtel's move came right after Vodafone revising its RED range of postpaid plans last week, but Airtel has the upper hand as it offers more postpaid plans than Vodafone.

Airtel

Moving onto other details of the Rs 499 plan, Airtel is also providing unlimited local, STD and national roaming calls without any FUP limit. The plan now gives 75GB of data with Data Rollover option up to 500GB. It also provides a user 100 SMS per day for the entire rental period. In addition, users will also receive free Amazon Prime subscription for one year. Sadly, this postpaid plan from Airtel doesn't offer free add-on connections.

Very recently, Airtel has revamped the Rs 649, Rs 799 and Rs 1,199 myPlan Infinity Postpaid plans with better data benefit. The Rs 649 postpaid plan from Airtel now offers a whopping 90GB of data per month, followed by the Rs 799 plan with 100GB of data benefit. Lastly, the revised Rs 1,199 postpaid plan is giving 120GB of data. All the Airtel postpaid plans are eligible for data rollover facility up to 500GB.

Airtel postpaid plans above Rs 649 also comes with free add-on connections, which is an added bonus. All the Airtel postpaid plans above Rs 499 also comes with free Amazon Prime subscription for one year. Airtel is yet to revise the Rs 399 base postpaid plan, but it's expected to change the same in the coming days. After the revision, the Rs 399 might offer 40GB of data because Vodafone's RED 399 plan is offering 40GB of data with data rollover option. It will be interesting to see whether Airtel will provide free Amazon Prime subscription with the Rs 399 plan.
