Asus Confirmed to Launch the Zenfone 5 Lineup in March 2018

It has been just one month since Asus launched its Zenfone 4 lineup of smartphones. While the smartphones are yet to reach most of the countries, the company has already confirmed that the Zenfone 5 lineup will be launched in March 2018. It is the same month where some big brands such as LG, Samsung unveil its flagship smartphones.

According to a report from DigiTimes, Asus CEO Jerry Shen, who is currently in Europe for promoting the Zenfone 4 lineup has confirmed about the launch of Zenfone 5 series in March 2018. Shen also confirmed high sales of the Zenfone 3 lineup in some regions such as France, Italy, Spain and Russia. He is also expecting that is likely to be one of the profitable seven smartphone vendors globally.

Asus usually releases its new Zenfone lineup in April or May every year, but this year, the unavailability of mid-range Snapdragon chipsets forced the launch event to August. The entire Asus Zenfone 4 lineup has six dual camera smartphones, and like every year, Asus is confusing us to remember the entire lineup.

Asus recently unveiled the Zenfone 4 Selfie lineup in the Indian market. The Taiwanese company launched three smartphones- Zenfone 4 Selfie (first impressions), Zenfone 4 Selfie Dual Camera, and Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro. All the three smartphones are aimed at selfie lovers, and the company has got pricing right this time around.

The Zenfone 4 Selfie base variant is priced at Rs. 9,999, whereas the Zenfone 4 Selfie Dual Camera version costs Rs. 14,999 (now available for Rs. 13,999), and the premium Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro retails for Rs. 23,999. These three smartphones are being sold exclusively on Flipkart.

The brand is yet to launch the standard Zenfone 4 and premium Zenfone 4 Pro smartphones in India. Particularly, the standard Zenfone 4 smartphone looks beautiful with its glass back. There are some other smartphones as well- the Zenfone 4 Max. Asus is yet to reveal the launch date of other Zenfone 4 smartphones in India.
