Apple announced the successors to the ultra-popular iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus last month, and they went on sale in the next few days in some markets that are important to the company. For India, the company decided to launch the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus on the 16th of October, and various offline and online stores have started accepting pre-orders for the devices. TheMobileStore and Snapdeal have started taking pre-orders for the devices, and you will have to pay the full amount by 4:00 PM of October 15.

If you want to buy the latest and greatest smartphones from Apple, you will have to shell out at least Rs. 62,000. Yes, that's the price you will have to pay for the 16GB variant of the Apple iPhone 6s, and the price will increase by Rs. 10,000 as you increase the storage.

On the other hand, the Apple iPhone 6s Plus price in India will start from Rs. 72,000 for the 16GB variant. Below is the table depicting the prices of the latest iPhones in the country.

Pre-orders can only be availed in five cities – Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai – and you are out of luck if you are not from these cities. If you can remember, the prices of iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus were around Rs. 9,500 cheaper when they launch in India last year. Apple has been constantly increasing the prices of its devices in India.
