These Are Under Rs 20,000 Phones Running Android 9 Pie

Google released its new latest software OS, Android 9 Pie, a couple of months ago. And soon after the OS was released for public, it started coming to some of the compatible phones. The first phone to get the Android 9 Pie's sweetness is definitely Pixel. Having said that, all the Pixel phones, starting from Pixel XL to Pixel 2 XL and now the Pixel 3 XL all run on the Android 9 Pie. Following Pixels, other phones that got updated with Pie soon after it was officially released include -- OnePlus 6, Nokia 7 Plus, among others. Apart from upgrading their already existing phones, some companies like OnePlus are launching phones with Android 9 Pie. The OnePlus 6T comes with Android 9 Pire out-of-the-box. Here are some of the Rs 20,000 phones that have been launched or upgraded to Android 9 Pie software.

Nokia 6.1

HMD Global is one of the few phone makers who has been working closely with Google to bring Android 9 Pie to their phones. The Nokia 6.1 is among the first Nokia phones to get Android 9 Pie sweetness. Interestingly, it is also one of the cheapest phones to be running on the latest software. The Nokia 6.1 comes with 5.5-inch display, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 and sports 16MP Zeiss optics with dual-LED dual-tone flash on the rear panel. On the front, the phone includes an 8MP selfie shooter. Other features that the phone features include -- 3000 mAh battery, 3.5mm headphone jack and more.

Nokia 6.1 Plus

As noted earlier, the Nokia 7 Plus was the first phone from HMD to get Android 9 Pie' sweetness. The phone was then followed by Nokia 6 series of phones. Besides the Nokia 6.1, the Plus model -- Nokia 6.1 Plus was also upgraded to Android 9 Pie. This is also a phone that is available under Rs 20,000 and has Pie inside. As for the specs, the phone comes with a big 5.8-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. The phone comes with dual cameras on the rear panel and single on the front. On the rear side, the phone includes a camera configuration of 16MP + 5MP, while on the front it packs a 16MP selfie shooter.

Xiaomi Mi A2

The Xiaomi Mi A2 is the first Xiaomi phone to get Android 9 Pie update. This is the second generation Android One phone from Xiaomi, the first one being the Mi A1. The phone comes with a 5.99-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 and is paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the camera front, the Mi A2 comes with a configuration of 12MP + 20MP on the rear panel, on the front the phone includes a 20MP selfie snapper.

Xiaomi's sub-brand Poco has been very committed to bringing the latest software to its phone, Poco F1. The Poco F1 has recently been upgraded to MIUI 10 and is now getting the Android 9 Pie update. The phone was launched with Android 8.1 Oreo.

Motorola One Power

The Motorola One Power is among the first Motorola phones to get upgraded with Android 9 Pie. The phone comes with a 6.2-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels. The One Power is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The phone was launched with Android Oreo out-of-the-box. On the camera front, the phone includes a primary sensor of a 16MP and secondary sensor of 5MP on the back. On the front, the phone includes a 12MP selfie shooter.
