Private mobile operators launched 3G in 2010, and it has been 2 years but 3G is yet to get warm responses from the subscribers as the operators expected and bidded aggressively.
To promote 3G data services incumbent operators Airtel Vodafone and Idea followed similar way - make a hike on 2G data tariff in the form of cutting down bundled usage on popular data packs. We can guess BSNL will revise their 2G plans following Airtel and Idea, but the problem is BSNL's 2G or 3G is too bad compared to Airtel or Idea in most circles.
The major changes on 2G Internet Packs by Airtel and Idea:
** The plans may have slight price differences in circle to circle and these new revision is not applied in certain circles.
