Airtel integrates its Airtel Payments Bank into the latest update of MyAirtel app

Bharti Airtel, India’s largest telecom network with over 263 million subscribers under their belt is trying is trying every possible way to retain its customers. As everyone might be aware of the fact that Airtel recently started a new initiative called ‘Airtel Payments Bank’ and the service received a massive response from the customers across the country.

The telecom network is offering several perks with its new service like 7.25 percent interest rate, banking points for each rupee customers deposits into the Payments Bank, accidental insurance, and several merchants offers if you choose the payment option as Airtel Payments Bank.

MyAirtel, the company’ standalone app for all the management stuff of your Airtel number picked up a new update, where the company is integrating their Payments Bank directly into the app itself. With this, a customer of Airtel network can register themselves into the Airtel Payments bank. However, they need to visit the nearest Airtel store to get the complete process done and open a Savings account.

Also, the company is providing an online virtual card for users registered to the Airtel Payments Bank system with which they can pay to any online merchants. Moreover, you can recharge directly from the Payments Bank itself, and there are several offers you can avail if you recharge directly with Payments Bank.

The Airtel Payments Bank can be accessed quickly from the home screen with just a swipe and up front, there’s an option to check your card details. The best part is Airtel is listing all the offers of Airtel Payments Bank in the application itself, much like what Jio is currently doing in their JioMoney app.
