Bharti Airtel has now rolled out a new discount offer on its entire range of broadband plans. Airtel, which is currently offering V-Fiber services in various cities has recently rolled out a 300 Mbps broadband plan, and now, the telco has now come up with a discount offer. Airtel is offering up to 20% for users choosing broadband plans for a year and up to 15% discount for users choosing broadband plans for six months. This discount offer is valid across all the cities where Airtel has its operations, but as mentioned, it’s applicable only for the yearly or six months pack.
For example, Airtel is offering a 300 Mbps plan of Rs 2,199 in Hyderabad city with a FUP of 1200GB. If a customer chooses the plan for six months, the price of the plan per month comes down to Rs 1,866 and the total amount for six months becomes Rs 11,200. If a customer selects the plan for one year, then the price per month comes down to Rs 1,758 and the same price of 12 months becomes Rs 21,100.
The same offer is applicable to other plans of Airtel– Rs 700, Rs 899 and Rs 1,999. As mentioned, these are the plans for Hyderabad city, and Airtel’s broadband offering differs from city to city, unlike BSNL.
This discount offer from Airtel comes as a benefit for users who are looking to avail the plans for a longer duration. Furthermore, Airtel is also providing data rollover option with its entire broadband portfolio along with free Amazon Prime subscription for one year.
With the threat of JioFiber looming on Airtel’s head, the telco is trying its best to retain the broadband subscriber base. Bharti Airtel is currently the second largest broadband service provider in India, after BSNL with the subscriber base close to three million. Several other Internet Service Providers such as Spectra, ACT Fibernet started offering 1 Gbps broadband plans across various cities, but Airtel’s maximum bandwidth plan is 300 Mbps, which was rolled out very recently.
