Sunil Bharti Mittal led Bharti Airtel recently decided to do away with the talk time recharges and introduced minimum recharges for their subscribers and the move was not at all well received by the customers of Airtel. However, the telco has lately been on the task of simplifying its recharge portfolio. The former market leader seems to be carrying out this task by removing the not so popular recharges from its offering list and by adding much more appealing plans to its portfolio. The telco has removed the Rs 549 and Rs 799 prepaid recharges and instead, has introduced the open-market plan of Rs 419. This open market plan ships 1.4GB daily data to the subscribers with 75 days validity. The plan also ships 100 text messages a day to the users. There are also other plans by Airtel priced Rs 399 and Rs 448 which provide 70 days and 82 days validity respectively, and this new plan of Rs 419 with 105GB total data benefit sits right in the middle of the two plans.

Bharti Airtel Rs 419 Prepaid Plan: Benefits and Validity

Diving into the details of Rs 419 prepaid plan from Airtel, it offers unlimited voice calls to any network in India, 1.4GB of daily data benefit and 100 SMS per day. The validity of the plan is 75 days. To make things clear, Airtel is offering voice calls without any FUP limit for a long time to take on Reliance Jio. And if a user doesn't have 4G coverage in their location, the network will fall back to 3G or 2G depending on the availability. Users can still consume 1.4GB data per day on 3G or 2G network.

Airtel Rs 419 Recharge vs Rs 399 Prepaid Recharge

As mentioned above, Airtel is also providing a recharge plan of Rs 399, which is also an open market one across all the circles. The only difference between the newly introduced Rs 419 plan and the existing Rs 399 plan is the validity. To recall, the Rs 399 prepaid recharge from Airtel also offers a user 1.4GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for a period of 70 days. Do make a note that some Airtel users will get the same Rs 399 plan for a period of 84 days. But it's a segmented offer as the open market Rs 399 plan offers benefits for only 70 days.

Airtel Prepaid Plans With 1.4GB Daily Data Benefit

Airtel has a total of five prepaid plans with 1.4GB daily data benefit. The plans in question are Rs 199, Rs 219, Rs 399, Rs 448 and Rs 509. All these plans offer 1.4GB 2G/3G/4G data per day, unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit and 100 SMS per day for the entire validity period. But the validity of these plans differ. The Rs 199 and Rs 219 prepaid plans come with 28 days validity and the only difference is the latter offers free Hello Tune subscription for 28 days. The Rs 399 plan, aforesaid, is valid for 84 days for select users and 70 days for all the users. The Rs 448 is an open market plan with 82 days validity, while Rs 509 plan offers the benefits for 90 days from the date of recharge. With the new Rs 419 prepaid plan, Airtel has a total of six plans offering 1.4GB daily data benefit.
