Bharti Airtel recently revised its broadband plans across more than 100 cities where it's operating right now. Airtel Xstream Fibre is the new identity for Airtel V-Fiber as the company is looking to streamline its offerings into one platform and that is Xstream. Already, the telco has renamed its mobile app from Airtel TV to Airtel Xstream, and now, the broadband setup has been renamed to Airtel Xstream Fibre. The company is using the Fibre name because the base speeds across major cities from Airtel Xstream Fibre right now is 100 Mbps and it's a move to take on Reliance JioFiber. According to the company, it's the largest private-sector broadband provider in India with a service footprint in 100 cities. As part of its revamped broadband plans, Airtel is now allowing users to get unlimited data every month by paying just Rs 299 more on top of the existing plan.

Airtel Xstream Fibre Unlimited Data Add-On Launched at Rs 299

Airtel Xstream Fibre broadband plans offer base speeds of 100 Mbps right now. However, similar to Reliance JioFiber, the broadband plans aren't that impressive on the FUP front. The base broadband plan of Airtel Xstream Fibre comes with 100 Mbps speeds, but the FUP limit is just 150GB per month. To solve the issue, Bharti Airtel has announced a new unlimited data add-on to the broadband customers priced at Rs 299.

Airtel Basic plan priced at Rs 799 comes with 150GB FUP limit every month, but by paying Rs 299 more every month, customers will get unlimited data. Although Airtel is marketing it as unlimited data, there's actually a FUP limit, but it's on the decent side at 3.3TB. Airtel Xstream Fibre also has three more broadband plans; Airtel Entertainment priced at Rs 999 and it offers 300GB FUP limit at 200 Mbps speeds, followed by the Airtel Premium plan that comes with 500 Mbps speeds and 500GB FUP every month.

Airtel Xstream Fibre also has a premium 1 Gbps broadband plan priced at Rs 3,999 and it comes with unlimited data (3.3TB) every month. Having said that, Airtel Xstream Fibre plans no more ship with data carry forward functionality which the previous broadband plans from the company offered.

As you might be aware of, Airtel Xstream Fibre plans of Rs 799, Rs 999 and Rs 1,499 in some cities like Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam come with unlimited data benefit, so the unlimited data add-on will be pretty much useless for them.

Airtel Xstream Fibre Impress Everyone on the Entertainment Front

Similar to Airtel postpaid plans, Airtel Xstream Fibre broadband plans also come bundled with some OTT service subscriptions. Bharti Airtel is bundling Airtel Thanks benefits with three Xstream Fibre plans- Airtel Entertainment, Airtel Premium and Airtel VIP. Subscribers of these three plans will get benefits like three months of free Netflix subscription, one-year of Amazon Prime membership worth Rs 999, ZEE5 Premium membership worth Rs 99 every month and Airtel Xstream app subscription worth Rs 1,200 for 12 months.

These OTT service subscriptions separate the broadband plans from other service providers like JioFiber, ACT Fibernet, You Broadband and so on. JioFiber is also rumoured to bundle OTT subscriptions with its broadband plans, but the company is yet to reveal the details.
