ACT Fibernet, which introduced Gigabit broadband speeds in India in March 2017 has now expanded the service to Bengaluru. The ACT Giga plan offering 1 Gbps download and upload speeds is available in Hyderabad until today, but starting today, ACT is offering the same plan in Bengaluru too. At an event held in Bengaluru earlier today, Priyank Kharge, Minister of IT, Bio-Technology, Science & Technology and Tourism, Government of Karnataka launched the ACT Giga plan alongside ACT Fibernet authorities.

ACT Fiberbet has made two popular Indian cities Giga powered. There isn’t a good broadband service provider in Bengaluru, but in recent times, ACT is upping the game by launching the ACT Giga 1 Gbps broadband plan. “This move will further place Bengaluru in the league of select cities in the world that can boast of such futuristic technology,” said ACT Fibernet in a press statement.
The ACT Giga plan is priced at Rs 5,999 and offers speeds up to 1 Gbps on both download and upload. It also comes with a FUP of 1250GB per month. This is the same plan ACT introduced in Hyderabad city in March 2017. ACT also promised that the same plan would be released in other major cities going forward.
Speaking on the launch Bala Malladi, CEO, Atria Convergence Technologies Pvt. Ltd said, “With the success of 1Gbps in Hyderabad, I am extremely happy to extend our services to Bengaluru. Known as the tech capital of India, we realised the city needs cutting edge/ futuristic internet technology to accelerate its development. We, therefore, ramped up our network with Giga technology and will now provide full coverage for individual home and corporate organisation. I am confident that as we keep introducing such advanced technology across cities, we will soon witness a societal transformation.”
