Iliad Group (Iliad) has extended its multi-year partnership with Nokia to support its 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile networks across France, Italy, and its territories in the French Caribbean and Indian Ocean Islands. In a statement today, Finnish telecommunications company Nokia announced that it has signed a new multi-year contract extent with Iliad.

Technologies Included in the New Deal
As part of the agreement, Nokia will supply solutions from its AirScale solutions, including baseband, Massive MIMO radios, and Remote Radio Heads, alongside cloud-native 4G/5G Core and IMS Voice Core technologies. These solutions will enable Iliad to deploy scalable and secure network services without limitations in multi-cloud environments at scale, Nokia said.
Chief Executive Officer at Iliad Group, said: "Our 14-year partnership with Nokia has been fundamental to building our mobile networks."

Iliad's Expanding Network Services

New agreement sees companies extend long-term partnership for deploying mobile networks in France and Italy which began in 2010. This deal supports Iliad Group's mobile network and core solutions in France and Italy, Nokia said.
