Google has just announced the Pixel 9 series in India. The search engine giant is famous for launching powerful camera equipped devices throughout the globe. The Pixel 9 series is no exception to that. While we don’t know how the device actually performs yet; we have seen a few glimpses of it at the keynote by Google tonight. The Pixel 9 series comes with four devices. The first device is Pixel 9, and the remaining three are Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. This device features the latest Tensor G4 chipset from Google. Let’s take a look at their prices first, and then later jump onto the specifications.

Pixel 9 series price in India

Firstly, there is the vanilla Pixel 9 priced at Rs 79,999 for the sole 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. It is available in peony, porcelain, obsidian, and Wintergreen colour options.

The Pixel 9 Pro starts at Rs 1,09,999 for the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage. Then there is the Pixel 9 Pro XL, which starts at Rs 1,24,999 for the 16GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. These are available in Hazel, porcelain, rose, quartz, and obsidian colours. The Pixel 9 lineup will be available via Reliance Digital, Croma, and Flipkart throughout India, starting August 22.

The Pixel 9 Pro fold starts at Rs 1,72,999 and will be available with 16GB RAM + 256GB internal storage.

In the camera department, the Pixel 9 comes with a dual camera set up where the primary sensor is a 50-megapixel octagonal PD wide angle camera and it supports up to 8X super res zoom. Paired with this is a 48-megapixel quad PD ultra wide angle camera. For selfies there is a 10.5-megapixel dual PD selfie sensor with auto focus.

The Pixel 9 is rated IP68 and is water and dust resistant. It has a 4700mAh battery with 45W fast charging Support. The charger is sold separately.

The Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL have the same specifications except for the size of the screen. The Pixel 9 Pro has a 6.3-inch (1280x2856) Super Actua OLED display with support for 3000nits of brightness. The Pixel 9 Pro XL has a large 6.8-inch (1344 x 2992) Super Actua OLED screen. The Pixel 9 Pro models have an LTPO display.

Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL have a triple rare camera set up with a primary 50MP octa pd wide camera, a 48MP quad pd ultrawide camera, and a 48MP quad PD telephoto camera with up up 30x super res zoom and 5x optical zoom. For selfies, there is a new 42-megapixel dual PD selfie camera auto focus. There is a 4700mAh battery on the Pixel 9 Pro while the Pixel 9 Pro XL has a slightly larger 5060mAh battery. Both the devices support 45W wired fast charging.

The newly launched Pixel 9 Pro Fold comes with an 8-inch (2076 x 2152) LTPO OLED Super Actual Flex inner screen with 120Hz refresh rate. There is support for 2700nits peak brightness. On the outside, there is a 6.3-inch (1080 x 2423) OLED Actua Display with 120Hz refresh rate.

There is Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection. On the outside, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has a 48-megapixel wide angle camera and a 10.5-megapixel ultra wide angle camera with autofocus and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto camera with up to 5X optical zoom and 20 X super resolution zoom. Both the wide and telephoto cameras have optical and electronic image stabilisation.

There is a 10-megapixel camera on the cover display while the inner screen also has a 10-megapixel camera with the same aperture.

There is a 4650 mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging.
