Reliance Jio has been caught up in a slightly difficult situation since the last month after it introduced the IUC charges on its prepaid plans for the subscribers. Under these IUC charges, the subscribers making calls from a Reliance Jio number to another operator will be charged at 6 paise per minute. Whereas, the Reliance Jio to Reliance Jio calls will remain free and unlimited as the users have been enjoying until now. However, some of the subscribers felt betrayed by this move as Reliance Jio has been that operator which was providing free unlimited calls since the beginning of its operations. Now the Mukesh Ambani led telecom operator seems to be in a damage control mode after the subscribers have shown their sentiments towards this new charge. Reliance Jio seems to be doing this damage control by the introduction of a new discount on recharges.
Reliance Jio Shubh Paytm Offer Details
It is worth noting that after the introduction of the IUC charges, Reliance Jio has introduced two different types of prepaid plans, While some of the plans are the previously existing ones, which come with data offerings and on top of this, the subscribers are required to buy IUC top-up just like talk time, the other kind of recharges available to the Reliance Jio subscribers includes a different setup which means that the subscribers get bundled IUC minutes in the plan. On doing a comparison of both of these plans, we were able to see that the bundled IUC minutes plans seem to be a much more economical choice for the subscribers. But, with the latest discount that Reliance Jio has announced for its subscribers, these plans would become even cheaper. The new discount that we are talking about is applicable on the Rs 444 and Rs 555 prepaid plan.
Rs 444 and Rs 555 All-in-One Reliance Jio Recharge Plans Under Discount
The subscribers wishing to avail the new discount should note that it would only be available on Paytm and it is being called as the Shubh Paytm Offer. The recharge offer is valid between November 1, 2019, and November 15, 2019. The subscribers who go for recharging the Rs 444 prepaid plan under this offer will get a Rs 44 discount, meaning that the Rs 444 prepaid plan would be available to them for Rs 400 only. The coupon code which they will have to use while recharging their number from Paytm would be SHUBHP44.
Another Rs 555 prepaid plan by Reliance Jio is also under the Paytm Shubh Pay offer, and as per the offer details given by Reliance Jio, the subscribers would be able to get Rs 50 discount on this prepaid recharge. The prepaid recharge will thus be available for Rs 505 to the subscribers recharging from their Paytm wallet with the code SHUBHP50.

If you are unaware about the Reliance Jio All-in-One plans, then you should know that the all-in-one plans are a better way for the subscribers to get IUC minutes along with data on their Reliance Jio numbers. With the Rs 444 prepaid plan, the subscribers of Reliance Jio get 84 days of validity and 168GB of total data benefit in this period, translating to 2GB data per day. The subscribers also get 1,000 IUC minutes with this plan along with 100 SMS per day and subscription to Jio apps. The subscribers of Rs 555 prepaid plan also enjoy the same data benefits, which include 84 days of validity and 168GB total data benefit with 2GB data per day and 100 SMS per day. However, the difference in this plan is that it comes with 3,000 IUC minutes per day.
