Here is Why BSNL FTTH Plans Might Be the Most Sensible Choice for Your Home Broadband Connection

A while ago we would not have imagined the state-run telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) making so many revisions to its plans. These revisions are not only extended to the prepaid and postpaid plans but have also been done to make the fibre-to-the-home plans of BSNL more attractive. Thanks to its consumer-centric approach, we have seen some appreciative efforts from BSNL and attractive plans. If you have not yet taken a look at the BSNL FTTH plans, then take this as a chance to explore why BSNL FTTH plans are making all the buzz right now.

Extension of BSNL 25% Cashback Offer

A few months back, BSNL had introduced a 25% cashback offer for its landline and broadband subscribers who were opting for six-monthly and annual plans. Notably, this offer by BSNL was very well received by the subscribers. As per the offer details, customers who bought the semi-annual, or an annual subscription of select broadband plans would get 25% cashback on their total amount. Customers would be able to use this cashback to buy additional BSNL services or the payment of future bills. Previously, the offer by BSNL was set to conclude by the end of March, but now the telco has extended the offer, and it will be available for the users till May 31, 2019.

No Installation Fees on Broadband Connection

Another reason why BSNL could be an optimum choice for your broadband or fibre connection is because of no installation fee. While previously BSNL used to charge Rs 500 as installation charge for the entire fibre setup at your address. But now, subscribers won’t have to pay a dime for BSNL landline, DSL or FTTH installation thus saving them a few more bucks. Initially, this waiver was introduced in the Chennai circle and then it was extended to all operational circles of BSNL.

Removal of Daily Data Limit on Lower Range Plans

Two of BSNL’s popular FTTH plans of Rs 777 and Rs 1277 were providing daily data to the subscribers only till a few days back. However, now the telco has moulded these plans to offer 500GB and 750GB data per month respectively without any limits. Previously, the Rs 777 plan was offering 18GB daily data, while the Rs 1277 plan was offering 50GB daily data to the subscribers, however, with a daily data cap there were bound to be some interruptions in case you exhausted your daily data limit, but with this revision the plans have been made much more user-friendly.

Discount on Long Term Broadband Subscriptions

Besides the cashback offer, BSNL is also offering a discount on long-term subscription of FTTH plans. To give you an example, the Rs 777 plan by BSNL will be available for Rs 7770 when bought for an entire year, meaning that customers will save two months’ worth of rental on an annual subscription. Similarly, there will be two years and three years payment options for these plans which will avail you even more discounts.

Affordable Pan India Rs 777 and Rs 1277 Plans

The Rs 777 or the 500GB Plan and the Rs 1277 or the 750GB Plan are some of the most attractive FTTH plans in the market right now. The advantages of these plans include affordable rental, no installation charges, discounts and high speed. Further, consumers will be able to enjoy speeds as high as 100 Mbps with these plans making them all the more attractive and likely choice of users.
