Vivo Received Over a Lakh Pre-Orders of V11 Pro in 5 Days

Vivo, which launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Vivo V11 Pro in India at a price of Rs 25,900 stated that it received over a lakh pre-orders for the smartphone from September 6 to September 11. Furthermore, Vivo staged that it will contribute Rs 100 from each of these pre-orders towards Kerala flood relief fund. "We received more than a lakh pre-bookings for the 'V11 Pro' that would translate into more than Rs one crore for the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund," Nipun Marya, Director, Brand Strategy, Vivo India, said in a statement. Furthermore, Vivo also stated it would contribute Rs 50 each from Vivo handset (irrespective of the model) sold in Kerala from August 22 to September 22.

Vivo V11 Pro Specifications and Features

The Vivo V11 Pro is the cheapest smartphone with an in-display fingerprint scanner in India, and it's the third smartphone after the Vivo X21 and Vivo NEX to feature the yet-to-go-mainstream technology. The V11 Pro sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display on the front with 19:9 aspect ratio and waterdrop notch. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, clubbed with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB.

Besides the in-display fingerprint scanner, the Vivo V11 Pro also comes with IR-based Face Unlock technology, which provides superior experience than the standard software-based Face Unlock feature. The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based Funtouch OS 4.5.

Optics on the handset include a 12MP+5MP shooters on the rear side and a 25MP front-facing selfie camera. The phone is backed by a 3400mAh battery with Dual Engine fast charging technology. As for the connectivity options, the phone ships with Dual 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and a Micro USB port resides on the bottom.

The Vivo V11 Pro has been priced at Rs 25,990 in India and it comes in a single variant. The device can be purchased via Flipkart, Amazon and several other retail stores near you.
