Tata Communications Unveiled Its Largest Indian Data Centre at Pune

Tata Communications,the leading global provider of a new world of communications today unveiled its largest data center in Pune (Maharashtra). Spread across nearly 55,000 net square feet, the data center would offer services including Co-location, Managed Hosting & Storage and a suite of complementary services including Managed Security Services and CDN services.

The Pune IDC will reside on Tata Communications’ Tier-1 IP backbone enabling it to provide high capacity Internet, MPLS and global Ethernet services.

The Centre will provide a state-of-the-art infrastructure for supporting mission critical environments, with advanced cooling, power, redundancy, and sustainability features to ensure that our client’s critical systems and applications are readily available while optimizing energy efficiency. The Centre has enough resources to double its area to be able to continue to serve the future needs of our customers. The launch of this datacenter is a demonstration of Tata Communications commitment to its India and International customers to support their business needs while providing end-to-end solution for connectivity, storage and hosting capabilities,” said Mr. Sunil Joshi– President, India , and APAC & MENA Regions at Tata Communications Limited.
