Here comes yet another change from Bharti Airtel. The leading telecom operator has updated its popular tariff plans under the Airtel Prepaid Promise scheme. Airtel has revised four plans- Rs 199, Rs 349, Rs 448, and Rs 509 with better data benefit to counter Reliance Jio. The Rs 199, Rs 448, and Rs 509 tariff plans now offer 1.4GB data per day, whereas the Rs 349 plan gives a whopping 2.5GB data per day for the validity period. These new tariff plans are already live across several circles in the country, and Airtel prepaid customers can recharge with the new plans by heading over to My Airtel app or website.

To counter Reliance Jio's 1.5GB data per day plans of Rs 198, Rs 448, and Rs 498, Airtel has updated its Rs 199, Rs 448, and Rs 509 tariff plans with better data benefit. All the three plans now offer 1.4GB data per day for the entire validity period. The Rs 199 tariff plan is valid for 28 days, meaning it now gives 39.2GB for the entire validity period. The Rs 448 plan now offers 1.4GB data per day for 82 days, which takes the overall data benefit to 114.8GB, while the Rs 509 plan is valid for 90 days with data benefit of 126GB for the validity period.

All these plans offer unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and a free subscription to Airtel OTT content apps for the validity period. As stated, these plans are already live across all major circles such as Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Delhi, etc. That said, Airtel is yet to make an official announcement on these changes though.

Bharti Airtel has managed to tackle Reliance Jio yet again by revising the tariff plans. A couple of days ago, the company updated the Rs 149 tariff plan with unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 1GB 3G/4G data for 28 days and it's now open for all Airtel prepaid subscribers. And yesterday, the Rs 399 Airtel prepaid plan received a validity extension from 70 days to 82 days in some circles, and today, the same plan is available in other circles such as Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
