It's a price cut day for smartphone brands. New Year is arriving, and smartphone brands are already preparing for it. Motorola and Oppo now announced a price cut on their popular smartphones in India. While Motorola permanently slashed the price of Moto G5S Plus to Rs 14,999, Oppo announced a permanent price cut on the Oppo F3 making it more affordable at Rs 16,990. Price drops on both the smartphones are already effective in retail stores and online stores where they are available.
Oppo F3 Price Slashed to Rs 16,990 in India
Oppo' sister brand, Vivo earlier today announced a price drop on the Vivo V7 smartphone, and its now turn for Oppo to announce a price cut. The Oppo F3, which was launched in May 2017 in India so far retailed for Rs 19,990. However, it now received a price cut and will be available for Rs 16,990. Oppo said that the price drop is already effective on retail stores and e-commerce portals where Oppo is selling the smartphone.
The Oppo F3 has a dual selfie camera setup, which is its USP. The device sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by the 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750T6 SoC. The Oppo F3 comes in a single variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Sadly, Oppo did not slash the price of the recently announced Oppo F5 smartphone, which is still retailing for Rs 19,990 in India. The Oppo F3 Plus is now available for Rs 22,990 in the Indian market.
Motorola Moto G5S Plus is Now a Sub Rs 15,000 Smartphone
Days after Xiaomi announcing a price cut on the Xiaomi Mi A1, Motorola has now permanently slashed of the Moto G5S Plus to Rs 14,999, which makes it a worthy contender to the Mi A1 and Honor 7X. The Moto G5S Plus can be purchased at the reduced rate on Amazon India and across all the Moto Hub stores.
The highlight of the Moto G5S Plus is the dual 13MP camera setup at the back. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 625 SoC, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, dual 13MP cameras at the back, 8MP front-facing camera, and a 3000mAh battery. The device will receive Android Oreo update in early 2018.
