South Korean smartphone giant, Samsung after pushing the Android Nougat for the Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) in Russia has started rolling out the update in India as well. According to Sammobile, the update has already started rolling out for users in the country. However, there’s no word from Samsung on the update officially.
Samsung was spotted testing the OS in the Galaxy A5 (2016) some weeks ago on a benchmarking site. The update has already rolled for all the users in Russia. The update on the Galaxy A7 (2016) requires at least 1.5GB free space on your device. The report says that both the phones will now get the same user interface as the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, alongside boosting the battery performance and overall performance in the phone.

The update weighs 985MB in size, and it will take at least 20 minutes for your phone to update it to the latest OS completely. The Android Nougat update will add features such as the quick reply, Doze mode on the go, etc. Google has urged all the OEM’s to include the quick reply feature, and all the OEM’s including Xiaomi has added it to their respective Android skins.
Speaking about the specifications of the phones, the Galaxy A5 (2016) and the Galaxy A7 (2016) are separated only by the screen size, RAM, and battery capacity.
