Panasonic has launched two new smartphones in India- the Panasonic Eluga Ray X and Eluga Ray Max with the company's Artificial Intelligence engine- 'Arbo.' The new AI assistant Arbo tracks the user behaviour on a daily basis and works accordingly. The Eluga Ray X is priced at Rs. 8,999, and the Eluga Ray Max comes in two storage variants- 32GB and 64GB for Rs. 11,499 and Rs. 12,499 respectively.
Speaking about the specifications of the phones, the Eluga Ray X flaunts a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. At the heart of the phone is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with support for 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage can be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
The Eluga Ray X comes with a 13MP camera at the rear and also has a 5MP front-facing snapper for selfies and video calls. The phone comes with a massive 4000mAh battery with no support for fast charging technology, and it boots Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based OS.
The Panasonic Eluga Ray Max comes with better specifications than the Eluga Ray X. It flaunts a 5.2-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The display on this phone is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology. The Eluga Ray Max is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with a clock speed of 1.4GHz and also comes with 4GB of RAM. As said earlier, the phone comes in two storage variants- 32GB and 64GB, but the RAM is same on both variants.
The Eluga Ray Max comes with a 16MP rear-facing camera with PDA and LED flash. Up front, there is an 8MP shooter for selfie lovers. The smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm QuickCharge technology. Also, the Eluga Ray Max boots the same Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based OS.
