After unveiling the Galaxy A9 Pro, last week, Samsung has launched two new smartphones in its "J" series, in India. The two new entrants are - the Galaxy J7 Prime and the Galaxy J5 Prime. The J7 Prime is already up for sale at Rs. 18,790 while the J5 Prime will go on sale by this month's end at Rs. 14,790. Both the smartphones will be available in Black and Gold color options.
With these two new devices, Samsung is going big with its S features - S Power planning and S Secure. The S Secure feature enables users to lock and hide their apps, protect Wi-Fi and form a separate Secure folder for photos and apps. In contrast to the S Secure feature, the S Power Planning focuses on saving battery life so that the device could last longer. It reserves plenty of battery for taking calls, and it also forward calls to another user-selected number whenever the phone is on low battery. Interestingly, both the new S apps have been developed at Samsung's India R&D center.
