CES 2016: Fitbit Blaze fitness tracker unveiled, will be available in India for Rs. 19,999

Fitbit has launched a new fitness tracker, the Fitbit Blaze, during CES 2016. It is a successor to the Fitbit Surge, and is has gained more smartwatch features in the iteration. It is compatible with Android, iOS, and Windows Phone devices, and has a claimed battery life of 5 days. It will be available in India for Rs. 19,999 through Amazon, but the pre-orders have kicked off already.

It features a colour display with touchscreen, and it looks blatantly similar to the Apple Watch. It features activity and sleep tracking. There's a heart-rate sensor for accurately measuring your vitals while workouts.

Unlike the Fitbit Surge, it lacks GPS tracker. Moreover, it can recognise workouts automatically and the FitStar feature provides workout videos from professional trainers.

The Fitbit Blaze comes with a multi-sport mode that helps users in logging activities like biking, cardio, running, weights, yoga and more. In terms of style, its bands can be interchanged, and the company is providing a lot of wrist bands as options. Buyers can choose between an elastomer band ($30), leather band ($100), and a stainless steel band ($130).
