Google has unveiled a new handwriting keyboard for Android known as, Google Handwriting Input. The keyboard can be downloaded via Play Store and is compatible with all Android versions after Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The main attraction of this keyboard is that users can handwrite the message and the keyboard will then convert it to text. It supports 82 languages along with Hindi. Handwritten message recognition is not exactly a new feature, as it has been there for a while and it works very well for the languages that are hard to type in a keyboard.
Google Handwriting Input is pretty simple and can be easily operated by a regular smartphone user. Go to the Play Store, download the app and mark it as your default keyboard. The Handwriting app recognizes fingers and stylus both. The best part is that it is really good at making sense out of any kind of handwriting regardless of its legibility. It also takes accurate input of numbers and special characters.
