Microsoft is striving hard to make its smartphone platform successful. It has already announced the Windows Phone 8.1 update recently, which takes it on par with iOS and Android in terms of features. Now, they are in talks with major telecom operators in India for operator billing feature in Windows Phone. Right now, Microsoft has over 4,15,000 applications for sale but only a limited amount of Indian consumers use debit or credit cards so it limits the number of app sales in Windows Phone.
This will help Windows Phone users without credit card or debit card to buy applications and games from Windows Phone app store. The cost of application or game will be added into the users monthly mobile bill. This feature might be available very soon as they have already launched the Nokia Lumia 630 and Nokia Lumia 630 dual SIM.
