@ Arun ITS NOTHING SPECIAL IN RS100 YOU GET A NEW 3G SIMCARD OF AIRCEL OR VODAFONE WITH 1 GB 3G DATA SO SIILAR IT IS

    AGREE BRO…

  • Idris August 31, 2012 10:52 pm

It is not worth to buy this pack because their SIM card often give registration fail error and we have to restart our phone it happens with my friends as well secondly the DATA Services is rubbish it will not connect easily even if connects it is not able to webpages or downloads ,,,,better not to TRUST this provider….

  • Adi August 31, 2012 9:08 pm

    @Abhay
Agreed… this is the best plan ever.

But, coming their service, its horrible!!! I am facing a lot of issues with their data connection. Sometimes, data connection will go off by itself and it will not connect again for 30 min to 3 hrs!!!

I dont believe the reason of network congestion. It happens – early morning, morning, afternoon, evening, night, late night and mid night.

Either, @tatadocomo is aware of this and purposefully doing it or there is some serious problem which the dumb customer service/technical support(I am 100% sure they dont have technical knowledge) are not able to find it!!!

I have a list complaints made on the data connection problem, every time the procedure is this:
    – take complaint, give expected resolution date
    – call the customer on the resolution and date, and inform your problem is solved
    – close the complaint

Again, I will give one more complaint next day, on the same problem and till now the process is on!!!

Tata DOCOMO, collectively, failed to maintain and build the TRUST with their customers.

  • Abhay August 31, 2012 6:24 pm

Still 1GB (3G) for Rs.31.00 is best among all available offers from all the operators having 3G licenses in any circle. Only limitation/condition applied is maximum you can have this offer once a week i.e. after every 7 days only one will be able to recharge for Rs.31.00 for 1GB(3G) data. So maximum one can have only 4GB (3G) data for Rs.31×4=Rs.124 in a month and not more than that. For the same you have to select recharge of Rs.246.00(widely advertised by TATADOCOMO.COM). One will get talk time of Rs.219.00(immediate credit) and immediately (though applicable for 48 hrs) recharge for Rs.4 (by dialing *141*15#). With in 1 or 2 min you account will be credited with 1028 MB (1024=1GB + 4 MB for Rs.4). Rs.219(credit) will be there for 30 days from the date of recharge. When one consumes completely 1028MB then again top up your account for some amount (Rs.40.00-50.00) and core balance will be increased from Rs.219 to above Rs.250.00 (depending upon recharge of Rs.40/50). Then go on tatadocomo.com. Click online recharge, enter your number and select 3G recharge and select Rs.246 recharge. Then select “PAY FROM MOBILE BALANCE” and complete by entering verification code received. After SUCCESSFUL recharge of Rs.246 (again 246 will be deducted and 219 will be credited so difference is Rs.27 only.)dial *141*15# for Rs.4 recharge. SO THIS PAY BY MOBILE BALANCE DOES THE TRICK FOR 1GB DATA FOR RS.31 EFFECTIVELY.However pay by mobile balance option is made available for Rs.246 recharge not more than once in 8 days. So when second recharge of same technique is required after consuming 1GB data then one has to wait for atleast 8 days from previous recharge because payby mobile balance is not available for recharge of Rs.246.00 more than once a week. TATA DOCOMO ROCKS.

  • Adil August 31, 2012 4:18 pm

Ramesh Darji :See all u guys are complaining, they are forcing u to take offer, if someone paying 250 they can take to pay 90 and can take offer. I am using docomo in abd and it is working fine. Coverage poor hai tab to aisi offer milegi otherwise why will give u. You will not get everything in one plate bhai.

    +1

  • Saurabh August 31, 2012 3:35 pm

One more thing I forgot to mention was that, Tata Docomo started losing customers in Haryana and in other circles at more pace since they stopped giving 3G network access to 2G data pack users. Customers active on 2G pack used to switch to 3G mode in order to get continuous 128Kbps speed but Tata stopped it and their 2G speed sucks at 2-3 kilo bytes per sec. Few months back the service do improved for some days but now it’s same again.

Idea is giving access to 3G network to 2G pack users with speed capped at 128Kbps. BSNL too providing with 256Kbps speed capped.

@Tata Docomo, Keep on axing your own feet.

  • anupam August 31, 2012 3:25 pm

    1gb for 90
    for 1000 rs = around 10.10 gb

i gie 1000 rs for BSNL/MTNL UL plan and download around 60 GB permonth with 1 mbps speed

  • Saurabh August 31, 2012 3:22 pm

This offer also available in Haryana but I’m no more a TD user.

The last time I recharged my Tata Docomo number was in January, 2012 and the number is still alive and company didn’t disconnected it even after me not following policy of minimum Rs.100 recharge every 6 months. I parted with the company and stopped recharging my number as it became worst in 2G Internet speed. 3G not available in my town and no hope of Tata Docomo launching 3G in towns. Their GSM subscriber base stands at only 893,639 in Haryana which is even lower than Videocon and that tells the whole story how bad company is performing. I don’t know whether they have 10K regular 3G users or not as only 20% of area is covered under 3G by TD in Haryana. Their ARPUs in Haryana circle are on a decline, customers porting to other operators especially Idea and Vodafone who have better 2G and 3G coverage and some even porting to Airtel as they are using Idea’s 3G network. BSNL is also a choice for those who have better coverage but not here in my area.

You can also confirm it by looking at their subscriber base which is on a continuous decline in last 12 months while A-V-I cartel gained the most due to their quality services and 90% network presence.

Tata Docomo has to understand that cheap offerings strategy can work for some time and now that time is over. At the end customer stays with the one with better network coverage and service quality.

Move to a rural area and you hardly find Tata Docomo or Aircel network. For expansion company needs capital and for that they need customers which are moving away because of poor network. They started of well but didn’t sustained it.

  • Pratik Gujarathi August 31, 2012 2:05 pm

This offer available only for that day when got this message.
If you don’t have this message then you will not get other 700mb data.
This is what “Hurry” tells you.

  • Sayan Chattopadhyay August 31, 2012 1:57 pm

    Arka :

Sayan Chattopadhyay : it it too hard to connect 2g internet in peak hours, everytime shows failed to connect to the internet.

exactly same here Kolkata.most time at day(6am-5pm) it shows “failed to connect”,after tried several times I can manage to connect and between 6pm-11pm,it is impossible to connect net.even at day/noon time, the connection cut suddenly. when I informed it to their CC executive through chat support,he told me that, there was a technical resolution that, after every 50min the connection will be automatically disconnected.I became surprised to here this!!I use it only because they offer cheapest GPRS in Kolkata circle, that is very pocket-friendly for the students like me.even their speed is too low(19kbps most of the day time and 5kbps at night!!) and if they use this type of tricks, why user will be use TATA DOCOMO for surfing net?

yes, just like u being a student i also can’t afford much for data usage. Though in my town the speed is good. Its within 15kB-35kB everytime.
But few days ago i also talked with them via their online chat support they informed me that my nearest cell site is overloaded due to too much connections. But it’s a amazing news to me as according to my knowledge nobody uses docomo for voice calls, everyone uses uninor for that. Only very few people like me use it only for low cost data.
And 2weeks i ago i visited kolkata from berhampore. In this 150km+ area docomo has only 25% coverage but uninor has 95%(i know uninor is worst for internet but it is simply too good for voice).
And in the areas like park street, esplande docomo’s speed was only 2kB-3kB.
Uff and two days ago they activated two unwanted services without my knowledge and deducted rs.60 from my account.
NOBODY SHOULD USE THIS STUPID DOCOMO SERVICE!

  • ARJUN CHANDRASHEKAR August 31, 2012 1:34 pm

only one word for this offer…… OMG

  • Adi August 31, 2012 12:07 pm

    @ Spiderman

    Exactly!!!!

Even if they give it for free.. how to use it? @tatadocomo know that user cannot use their data, and that is the reason they are offering for low price!!!

There is no improvement in their network in Bangalore from past 18 months, their QoS has reduced greatly…

If @tatadocomo, atleast improve their customer service and resolve/handle/correct the issues/problems reported by the customers, they can make a come back and be at their best ever!!!

Whether stay lon or not boss it is very good offer, as presenty Rs. 250 is there for 1GB. But tata docomo have another offer of 246 and 4 where talktime 219 and 1GB 3G data. So apart from this offer, tata is giving 1GB 3G data in just Rs. 30.

This is another price war, tata has different strategy, they will remain costly but when they cut price it is never match bottom price. See 666 local unlimited all network calls, 899 unlimited local, STD and roaming calls.

3 years before they had launched one plan where per call just Rs. 1 for unlimited calls to any network (capping 10 minutes per Rs. 1).

So enjoy till u get benefit and then move for another offer.

  • Spiderman August 31, 2012 10:23 am

This offer was existing for kerala & karnataka circle since 4 months !
But the problem with docomo 3G for me was if I try to connect 20 times, one time only it will get connected & If I download say 20 MB file, then after 1 MB, net will get disconnected !!

  • Arun August 31, 2012 10:12 am

    “Limited Period offer”??
Doesn’t look like the one that stays for long
