India’s 2nd largest Broadband Service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) is all set to launch its Fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) triple play High Speed Broadband service with core network speed up to 10 Gbps in Mumbai Telecom circle by tomorrow i.e. 1st March 2012.
Speaking with TelecomTalk, Mr. Peeyush Agrawal, Executive Director MTNL Mumbai confirms that Mr. A. K. Garg, Chairman and Manging Director (CMD) MTNL will launch high speed FTTH (Fiber to the Home) Broadband service along with new broadband plans in Mumbai on 1st March 2012 (tomorrow).
Presently MTNL’s FTTH Broadband service is available in Delhi circle which was launched on November 9th, 2011 as we shared on TelecomTalk.
MTNL FTTH Broadband can offer plethora of services based on Triple play(voice-video-data) services like IPTV, HDTV, 3DTV, video on demand , Bandwidth on Demand, Instant Video conferencing , interactive gaming , and several other VAS which can be only possible through FTTH.

Man BSNL is providing FTTH in so many places in early 2011(even in kannur ,a small district HQ in kerala). Maximum speed is 100Mbps for a normal user. they are providing higher speed for special users.

BSNL is providing true unlimited 10mbps @ Rs.13999 in all circles.
please note that there is no FUP.
