other operators like tata rel charge for upload also. they use the word combined usage or like thing. as i inquired with them.
whereas mtnl only charge for download n not for upload. so no hidden cost by mtnl. mtnl hai to sahi hai.
really good move to include common man in broadband movement.

MTNL does not count uploading in total usage unlike BSNL & other ISPs do. I have read it somewhere though not sure. Mr. Bafna will clear exactly.

The modem rent for all limited plans including this plan is Rs.50 for Normal and Wireless both and customer can opt any one as their choice. MTNL customer also free to buy their own modem than no charges for that.
With Unlimited Plans MTNL provide Rent free modem.
