    Some people are talking about only a single circle specific operator. BSNL is the best in terms of coverage. It has coverage wherever I travel. The only worst thing is that all voice and video calls will be charged at base tariff during the five blackout days (new year, valentine’s day, deepaavali, christmas and on 31st December). In BSNL Tamilnadu, as for now, GPRS and 3G data is charged according to the booster pack tariff (if enabled) during the five blackout days. But it says that voice and video calls, SMS and data will be charged at base tariff.

      signal will be there. but we cant talk with out voice break or we cant send sms with out pushing. say from your heart. are you happy with the cust. care of bsnl? are you happy with the new sms tariffs introduced by bsnl? dont u think those sms packs are costly? stop promoting nonsense service. soon you will come to know how difficult it is to contact cust care in bsnl.

        I agree that customer care is worst. But if you are aware of the booster packs, no need to call the customer care.

        Of course there is no free SMS booster pack in BSNL. In the world of multi SIM phones, using 2 SIM is not a big problem. So use private operator SIM for sending SMS.

          I agree BSNL has best coverage compared to all other operators. but the quality of signal is not sufficient for break free call. Higher officials in delhi are spoiling bsnl. age old employees in bsnl offices are adding fuel to fire.

    Many ppls who are non resident of Mumbai donk know loop mobile properly. They have strong network in mumbai and ranks 4th in network coverage. Even today Tata docomo uses Loop network(try it manually) when videocon and uninor was there in mumbai they use loop network sharing where their network couldnt reach.
    It was the hutch telecom who took over loop mobile in 2005 if you know. Early brand BPL MOBILE was operating in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Goa,tamil nadu and kerela. In 2005 hutch took over BPL MOBILE(EXEPT MUMBAI) And integrated into hutch then in 2007 vodafone took over hutch. Since then BPL REBRANDED THEM AS LOOP MOBILE

    Ambala, Haryana
    Aircel has shed their tie-up with Tata Docomo in Haryana for 2G network and now Aircel customers aren’t able to latch on TDs IND 031. Their own network is still live wherever they have it. Looking at their debt of over Rs.38K crores, I don’t see any chance of company setting up their own infrastructure and re-launching services. Same happened in Punjab few days back where people aren’t able to latch on TD. :)

        Hey Mr. Sudhakar i think you are unaware about the loop mobile’s ROAM LIKE HOME PLAN. it offers local calls 60p and std calls 80p in roaming all over india for incoming and out going in addition OUTGOING SMS @re 1 flat which is much lesser than other operators in roaming all this loop charges 47rs for 1yrs. So Loop Rocks other flops

          Talk with sense. I don’t want to talk about any special plans in loop mobile. If home and roaming circle are treated as the same, then the booster tariffs must be applicable in the roaming circle also.

          For example :
          If you have enabled all local calls at Rs.0.30 per min booster pack and if you roam into Karnataka, then all outgoing calls within Karnataka must be chaeged at Rs.0.30 per minute (just like Chennai – Tamilnadu, Kolkata and West Bengal and Mumbai and Maharashtra). This is what I am coming to say.

    Reliance is better then all of network. I’m using Rs1 every 3minut of Local/STD outgoing call in home or Roaming circle. No any hidden charge.

    @Sudhakar,

    Always a non-sense reply

    Loop operates only in Mumbai and in roaming they use network of other operators. they can’t charge 1.50/sms. Other telcos have all India presence so they provide sms at 1.50 on their own network.

      Eventhough the topic I am going to talk are different topics, I want your explanation.

      In ICR tie-up method in Tamilnadu, Reliance GSM and docomo always gets logged into Aircel in most of the cities. In this case the call, SMS and GPRS (if it works) rate do not differ if logged into ICR network. Then how is this possible?.

      Why is this not possible in roaming?. First of all think with sixth sense and understand others’ comments.
