Lemon Mobiles (Fastrack Communications Pvt. Ltd) today launched its much awaited low-cost 3G enabled mobile phone for the Indian masses dubbed as W100 3G.
The W100 3G is a complete 3G entertainment package and can be used to make video calls, watch Live Mobile TV, access the High Speed Internet, receive Emails and Download Music tracks on compatible 3G networks. The 3G handset is available pan India and the company would like to drive the 3G penetration across its customer base with the launch W100 3G.
Priced at Rs 3500 Lemon W100 3G comes with a pre loaded Lemon LiveTV application. The Lemon LiveTV provides access to most popular TV channels and uses the underlying 3G services available from the 3G Mobile Service provider. W100 3G also comes with a one month Free subscription for LiveTV services.
The W100 3G handset was announced on October 28th, 2010 and now its available in the market across India in two different colors Vibrant Red and Stylish Blue.

I had purchased a lemon W100 mobile through Home-shop18 from Suman Enterprises(Tin:07110229089} , New Delhi vide invoice no.SE/RI/12-13/584 Dated 02.04.2012.After 1.5 months , the set became dead. It was sent to its competent authority by R.S.Enterprises ,Faizabad but it could not be repaired. Second time it was sent to you by Saket Enterprises , Faizabad for repair. It was delivered to me but again it was dead.I had again gave it to Saket Enterprises , Faizabad for repair.
But now it is too much.I Want its free repalcement by a new lmomobile..

Samsung C 5010 3G Phone is also good and the price is 3400Rs.with front Camera.and its Battery Backup is so good.

This type of mobile will be good for people who are not internet savvy or those who are not planning to use internet on/through mobile. They will get the most interesting feature of 3G – Video Calling and that too at much lower price.
I think the big players should take a clue from Lemon. Big players are skipping Video calling feature even in their high end 3G mobiles.

WCDMA 2100 gives the 3G speed upto 384kbps and a great path i can feel and find is dual camera. Its a ecnomic handset . In other end we can find Nokia offering 2730 at Rs.4200 with 2 megapixel camera. it doesnt have a dual camera. in that case i can suggest this handset. as an economic one.

I have tested with SAMSUNG Monte 3G connectivity with PC, It work fine without any major change in settings. I am using BSNL 3G and got a speed upto 2Mpbs in Chennai suburban areas.

common guys…in case of 3G mobiles only nokia is trustworthy……other manufacturers lyk lemon,micromax,lava,htc are crap. PC connectivity of these phones are useless…where as PC connectivity of nokia is best..u can manually set connection settings…

Only WCDMA ? Then Nokia 2730 Classic is better. Far Better quality at almost same price of around Rs. 3700-3800.

Very good initiative by indian grown mobile manufacturer. It would have been better, if 3G speed is 3.1 MBPS, which HSDPA. But in this price range, it is fantastic.
