In View of the competition from the other operator and in view to continue its best offers in industry, IDEA Cellular has revamped its GPRS/2G Mobile Internet offerings in Karnataka telecom circle.
IDEA Cellular has made bit changes and now its Prepaid subscribers in Karnataka circle will get more FREE Data Usage in monthly pack of Rs.98 while no changes in other small data packs.
With GPRS Pack of Rs. 5 customer will get the benefit of 50 MB with a validity of 1 day, with Rs. 16 you can enjoy 500 MB data download with a validity of 3 days whereas with Rs. 98 GPRS pack, you can enjoy downloading for 6 GB (205 MB per day) which was previously just 3 GB.
The daily plan of Rs. 5 would remain active, until deactivated by the user, and charges of 2p/Per KB will apply for download beyond the Free usage limit in all GPRS Packs.

Really Idea has very worst customer care. After 20 0r 30 min they receive our calls and they do not provide good information accordingly.

i do not think uninor will follow Idea. Becoz Uninor is a very good company and USSD facilites are available and customer care is also good where as with !Dea they have the worst customer care i have ever seen in my lifetime. So do not compare Uninor with Idea, Uninor is much better compared to Idea, but the thing which is lacking in Uninor is the coverage only and if they provide that, they will be a awesome company.

Yes That’s Right Idea is Not Charging For CC. IDEA IS BETTER THAN ALL OPERATORS IN KARNATAKA IN TERMS OF COVERAGE. NOBODY CAN BEAT IDEA IN KARNATAKA. BSNL IS USELESS NETWORK,JUST COVERAGE IS EXCELLENT NOTHING COMES WHEN COMES TO IDEA IN KARNATAKA.

Idea shows that how a good plan can change into bad plan due to daily limits. In Bihar Idea GPRS speed is good without any daily limit.

It is clear from comparing Vodafone and Idea’s – products, services, offers, policies etc. that they are working in collusion and as a cartel. DoT and TRAI should take note of it and give them under their knuckle and ask them to stop their cheap and dirty tricks!

Idea is a crack jack company! Was Mr. Birla working for a rationing shop before getting into telecom business? When it is called monthly pack with 30 days validity, then why the f*** daily rationing of GPRS packs. Who is Idea to tell and force consumers to use internet on daily limits/rationing?
Vodafone and Idea are destroying indian telecom industry by getting together to come up with anti-consumer products and services! Their license should be cancelled. However bad Airtel might be, but it is 100 times better than Vodafone and Idea!

Get airtel .i always get above 10KBps speed and end of the usage it shows how much data in MB i used and the remaning amount of data(MB) .

idea is worst…with daily limit of 70 MB and also packs donot work while roaming.
all other subscribers provide gprs packs while roaming as well with no daily limit.
applied for MNP once and they assured me that soon you can use gprs while roaming also but it has been more than a month and still no sign of that.

6GB is too much because, Speed of Idea internet is very bad and also their settings are too complicated…they send you three different access points, and none of them is useful while browsing on opera mini, and Idea is the only operator to charge for calling customer care…Idea is really cheap…

I wish there was a sort of Super Auhority which could ban providers like this, which go on making shitty plans even in this age of so high competition in 2G. Why the hell they are so sticky to those daily limits on a GPRS pack. When I have paid u its my wish how much I use a particular day or other. Why not make these plans WAP only instead of GPRS plans, coz 205 MB are more than enough on moblie.
Third class cheap tricks for looting customers money in the name of over usage. Moreover they don’t even show/provide the remaining MB balance. Utter crap, just PR bullshit !
