BSNL 3G DATA CARD IS NOT DEPENDABLE FOR IMPORTANT AND SENSITIVE JOBS/WORKS BECAUSE IT IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY.IT’S SPEED IS SOMETIMES HIGH,MANYTIMES LOW,MANYTIMES ZERO AND SOMETIMES DISCONNECTED PUTTING THE OPERATER TO HARRASSMENT AND FRUSTRATION.THE CUSTOMER CARE 1503 IS NEITHER RESPONDING NOR HELPFUL MANYTIMES.THIS IS FROM BHUBANESWAR LOCATION.

I enquired at BSNL at Kota for Rajasthan area BSNL offers 2GB in place of 2.5 GB per month and the cost is not that economical and one has to bind for Rs.3300 for life time.

    Dear sir,
Why the existing users should buy another data card? The plan should be without data card. Those who want to buy data card ,they should pay for the instrument.

I’m from West Bengal circle. I recharged my BSNL 2G sim with a GPRS pack of Rs.219 which gives 8GB( 4GB Day + 4GB Night[11pm to 7 am] ) for 30 Days. Then when i started to surf the internet using my data card( Beetel BG-64 Modem ) i was amazed to see that i was getting average speed of 3 Mbps . It has been 15 days since i recharged that pack and i’m still getting the same 3G speed. I don’t how this happened, i didn’t do any hacks or sms whatsoever. Looks like BSNL is so kind to me.

Worthless plan. 3G dongles are easily available for Rs 1000 or less.
Why someone take the risk of paying for a year, while Reliance Jio 4G is coming next year? !

It may be worthless for people who use cheap operators like aircel/rtl/uninor etc and stuck in just one circle but worthy for people who use BSNL and roam across India (may be indoor coverage is not good in few circles/cities).
With this one year valid data plan which costs Rs3300 and provide total 30GB 3G data usage, so total cost for 1 GB will be around Rs.110 only! which can be use anywhere in India (all circles) and 3G Data card worth Rs.1100 is also free.

Reliance Jio which is still not commercially available, would be unable to provide 4G data roaming across India with its initial launch or for 1 year from the commercial launch expected by the end of this year, so comparison with operators which still not launched services is not wise.

Using BSNL 3G is like getting 2G speed for 3G price. I never found it to be speed consistent as compare to so called “cheap operators”. I have tested near BSNL tower and at remote places as well. Getting true 3G speed on BSNL network still a dream for their users.

        Average 3G speed 20Kbps-300Kbps….

    BSNL was sleeping, till now.
Better offers are already there in market for long.
Reliance had been giving free data cards on 3 months advance only for long.
BSNL is still stuck @ 3.6 Mbps data card, which is antique now.
