sir normally 7.2 mbps data card is enough for downloads. but it is better
to take 14.4 mbps data card for higher tariffs.

Though any operator who are saying that through data cards with speed upto 14.4 Mbps one can access the network is to be verified with actual speed one experiences when they log in their network. This is true of every player. The thumb rule operators providing service with CDMA technology are providing more speed than operators of GSM technology. Hence I advice people buy data cards which utilises both the technology like Mercury etc. so that people can choose the best network.

1. I am interested in buying the BSNL wireless data card. I presently have Reliance data card which provides very poor speed in Assagao, Bardez, Goa.

2. Will the BSNL data card work well in Assagao?

3. Will this card also work in Mumbai?

4. Please give me the BSNL office contact phone nbr & address.

Thank you

Any data card one uses, the speed achieved is based on the following basic factors.
1. The signal strength.
2. The no. of persons who are accessing the network at that point of time.
3. Server speed of the accessed website.
4. The technology provided by the choosen operator i.e
GSM or CDMA.
5. The thumb rule in CDMA technology the speed will be more. This is to be verified in Indian condition.
